Can I sugar if I use Acutane?

No, Unfortunately you cannot.

What if I use Retin-A?

We recommend you wait 30 days after use.

How often do I need to get sugared?

Usually anywhere from 3-6 weeks. This depends on the service area, a persons hair growth, and the density of that persons hair.

Can I get sugared if I’m pregnant?

Yes, you may. Sugar is an all natural organic product. Although, you may be a bit more sensitive.

Can I get sugared while menstruating?

Yes, however you may have increased sensitivity and you must wear a tampon.

When does my half off brazilian expire?

3 months

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

We understand things come up.

You may cancel your appointment up to 24 hours before your appointment time, with no penalty.

After the 24 hour window, late cancellations and no shows will result in a fee of 40% of the total booked service(s) which will be charged immediately. 

  • In order to book an appointment, we require a credit card held on file.  Your card will not be charged for the service until after the service is completed.  It will only be charged if a late cancellation or a no show occurs.  

  • Please understand that late cancellations and no shows inconvenience both our Sugarists and turned away clients.

  • If you do not show up for your appointment within 10 minutes of your reserved time, we will need to consider you a no show. However, if time allows, we will try to fit you in before the next appointment.

  • As a courtesy to our clients, we will try to send both text and email confirmations about 24 hours prior to your appointment time. However, if we’re unable to contact you, you do not receive a confirmation text or email reminder, or if you have opted out on receiving texts or emails, the appointment for your service(s) will remain booked.  It is your responsibility to remember your appointment time.  

  • This policy is in place as a courtesy, to let other clients know our availability, as well as to respect the time of our staff.  All policies are displayed in our studio, on the website, and in your booking confirmations.
